The Spy Guy (Short Story Project)

Title: The Spy Guy!

Author: Luis Barlow

Genre: Action/ Adventure

Pages: 10

Mentor Text: James Bond, National Treasure are the movies that inspired this story, I have always wanted to be a spy as a child and, I always liked the entire idea of spies, the excitement and adventure, with all your secret Gadgets.
Audience: 10-13 years Old, 6 to 7th graders

Writing Process: Once I finished my 1st draft of my story I showed it to my teacher, and friends
for feedback and grammar corrections, I will then fix these things and keep on making new drafts until I have my final copy. I had several grammer errors throughout my story, and after everyone looked through my book and spotted out the errors in it, I made the appropirate changes.

Publishing Process: I will Print out the paper into nicer paper, make a laminated cover, and bind it all together to a book and let Mr. Elezondo's class read it.

My favorite part from my story was the final action scene at the end cause I personally believe I did a fairly good job explaining all that happened without using much dialouge. I like spy stories cause as a child I have always admired "sercret spies" people like James bond, how they are asertive and cunning in everything they do.

What did you change (specifically) about your story after getting feedback from your friends and teacher? What part of your story do you enjoy the most? Why do you enjoy writing and reading spy stories?

I'd like to see you go back inside this reflection, now that you have fully completed the project and reflect on what you actually chose to do for your final reflection.
