Featurecast From the Past

Project Purpose: To understand the difference between Cause/Effect Relationships and Correlations. To understand how and why major events in history are connected and intertwined (think yarn activity!). To research a major event from U.S. history in order to understand why it is significant and how it relates to other major events. To understand features of a feature article and podcast and to be able to create a feature article or podcast about your major event in history.
Project Requirements:To present the 5Ws of your major event to the class. To write/peer edit/revise a feature article or podcast. To have at least three drafts in your Writing Portfolio. To present a polished version of your feature article or podcast on Media Night, as well as posting it online to our Team Featurecast from the Past web page (made by James).
Two challenges that I Faced during this project was first of all, I learned what cause the Vietnam War, because that is a topic a lot of people do not know about, I also learned how to use illustrator, the program because I have never used this program before, and Mr. Rodrigo taught us a lot of cool tricks and tips on what we should do on our feature article.
A challenge that I faced during this process is finding a reliable, and informative site, to find information on. A lot of sites, either didn't have what I was looking for, had falsen information, or were to complicated to understand. So finding a reliable source I could understand was a tough challenge.
How this relates to the real world is that, for many years, and still today, conflict has been going on due to racism, religiouse beliefs, or different opinions, In the Vietnam War, the U.S and Vietnam fought because they had different opinions on communism.

At my church we do it all, Proverbs of the Caribbean, Faith Factor, Phat Albert, Night at the museum, and more. We would perform hilarious skits for the little kids and thats what I love doing. I love doing things an front of people, I love kids, I love making people laugh, and I love my religion, this is why I picked my church for my querencia. I love the looks on the little kids faces every time make them laugh. I also love going to my youth church on Tuesdays because we have bands playing every week and I love the music that they play there. My youth pastor rocks because he's a lot of fun to hang out with and he's really funny. Probably one of my favorite things are the sermons – the preaching- When the pastors speak they always make it funny and interestaing.
We're always going places and doing awesome stuff. Couple times before we set up a skate park and got professional skaters to come and do like a demo for us. I went to a concert with them up in L.A. Before which was a ton of fun. They also showed me about notw, which means not of this world. Notw is a clothing company, and it's now my favorite brand of clothes. Almost everyone at school recognizes me for notw and whenever they see the logo it reminds them of me.
When I get older, I still want to continue doing skits for the kids, no matter how many people think it's childish, I have so much fun and I have a ton of friends at my church. I love what I do.
